A canonical dimension table for the most common social, print, and web formats — sizes to use when setting up a new frame in Lega.
Getting the dimensions right before you start designing saves you from resizing (and re-laying-out) after the fact. This page is a reference table for the most common formats you'll set as a frame size in Lega — social posts, stories, ads, print pieces, and web assets — so you can look up a size once and move on.

These platforms update their preferred dimensions periodically, and cropping behavior varies by placement (a feed post displays differently than the same asset in a story). Print sizes
Print dimensions are conventionally specified in inches, not pixels, because the final output is physical. At a standard 300 DPI (dots per inch) for print-quality resolution, here's how common sizes translate:

These figures are for the trim size — the final cut size of the piece. Print jobs typically need extra bleed area added around the edges, and color and resolution requirements of their own; the full rundown is in the Print-Ready Export Checklist — don't export a print job straight off this table without reading it first.

Web assets are generally lower-stakes on resolution than print — screens render at a fixed pixel density, so there's no equivalent of a DPI requirement. What matters more is matching the exact placement dimensions so the asset isn't stretched or cropped unexpectedly by the platform.
Setting a custom frame size
Every size above is a starting point, not a constraint — Lega frames accept any custom width and height. If you're designing for a format not listed here (a non-standard ad unit, an unusual print piece, a specific screen size), set the frame's dimensions directly when creating it. A note on aspect ratio vs. exact pixels
When a platform's own guidance gives a range rather than an exact number, matching the aspect ratio matters more than hitting the exact pixel count — platforms resample images to their internal size anyway. Where this table gives one canonical number per format, it's the safest choice: large enough to avoid upscaling, and aligned to what the platform expects.
